Why did Aikatsu shutdown in HK?
ok so aikatsu in HK was booming. The card game was pretty successful, lemme give you a good brief.
The aikatsu machines in Japan changed after the OG aikatsu. However in Hong Kong, the old aikatsu machines were kept so you could use your old cards. The aikatsu friends cards in Hong Kong do NOT have QR codes and are instead barcodes, similar to the original aikatsu. However, there was no Aikatsu stars in Hong Kong.
But in 2020, Aikatsu shut down and stopped manufacturing Hong Kong Aikatsu cards and machines. Aikatsu was super successful in Hong Kong and I wonder the reason why the machines and cards weren’t kept, but the dragon ball z cards and machines are still in production?

The Problem With The Reuse of Stages and Overuse of Jokes and Dresses in Aikatsu Planet
This is a random rant on jokes, stages, and Dresses in Aikatsu Planet.
Starting with the reuse of stages. As you can see, first of all, there are various types of stages in Aikatsu. There are dance stages, live stages and runway-like stages. But with Planet currently airing, this is no longer the case. Some (or all) of the stages are reused/recolored but only for different songs. Like for Inner Voice, the stage is a recolor from the Bloomy＊Smile stage.
And to be very honest here, fans have taken this problem with stages way too seriously. also hothotmiso, a person on tumblr complained that Soulmate used the Magical Door stage! WTF?!

Hello everyone!
It has come to the admins attention that there is an aikatsu-planet wiki made. This wiki has chosen to use our All aikatsu wiki's exact format, image and written source for their wiki content.
While we are honored that there are people out there who appreciate the work of everyone who has ever edited on All Aikatsu Wiki, we are not affiliated with the aikatsu-planet wiki.
Since the transition after friends, we have already decided that all future series of Aikatsu will stay here on this wiki, therefore we will not move to aikatsu-planet to edit either.

Criticizing Towards Aikatsu Planet
You know that some of us aren't excited for it since it's live action and like PriPara, which makes it bland and boring but on the other hand, some of us are excited for this change since this might be "Do or Die" for the entire Aikatsu franchise.
But still, please! Get rid of your disappointment until the first episode airs this January! You can't criticize things when you only have a trailer being released.

If I start that up again, is anyone actually going to be around to play? I've noticed activity dropped a lot as of late, but I know this was missed (at least by a few people)- but I didn't know if anyone would actually see it.
So, if you want me to resume the + and - competitions PLEASE leave a comment down below. If I only get 1 or 2 people then sadly it's not happening. It'd be kind of a waste in that case. But if I get 5+ or see an influx of editors on again, then I think it'd be fine to go ahead.
Favorites episodes and songs?
As the title suggests, what is your favorite songs and episodes?
For me, I like Stars only so I mostly I would talk about Stars 😂. And as I previously stated I don't like the music by Digz.inc. By the way, I am not a fan of My Little Heart / Berry Parfait / Spice Chord songs… I would hope the singing voice in Barefoot Renaissance to be lower then I would like it more… (Although I like the rhythm…)
But for Romance Kiss, I know many love Summer Tears Diary and Dream Stage…But actually I am not hype of them… My preference: Future Transit > Tsu · bo · mi > Summer Tears Diary > Makeover Makeup > Dream Stage.
For Gothic songs in the whole franchises, my preference is probably: The Wasteland's Miracle > Dreaming Bird > Eternally Flickering Flame > G…
Favorite "Season's 1st" Episode
Was that title confusing? If it is, basically I'm asking "What is your favorite first episode from all of the series in Aikatsu?". There are 4 from the orginal Aikatsu, 2 in Stars and Friends, 2 in Parade (1 being Dream Story, that counts right?).

I enjoyed all of them about the same, but while it might be a cop out, I think I liked the Parade 1st episode the most- due to all the feels I got from watching it and the nostalgia factor I felt from it. Seeing everyone from the old series showing up in the opening and ending themes (which I loved btw), I was so excited and happy x3
Aikatsu Planet! analysis
Actually I think Aikatsu Planet! should move to new wikia because this is no longer Aikatsu all star, plus there are many drastic change regarding to anime style and game.
Here is my analysis. If using the direct rival project to compare the change:
1) Aikatsu OG to On Parade (4 title 8 season) is an era, then Planet! is an new era.
Which is like Pretty series to PriPara (Pri Chan don't have huge change except like YouTuber on air, same illuminating dress, card, audition with card reward like Kami Idol)
2) Anime Type change. Added Mascot like Dressia (Oh but whole pretty series have mascot…), live action / kids drama, battle.
Pretty Rhythm series originally featured ice skating but PriPara features Idol virtual park.

Aikatsu On Parade Dream Story
A leak said that we will get the season 2 which the subtitle is "Dream Story" So...here is some guessing/hopes on Aikatsu On Parade Season 2(Dream Story).
Theme:
Depending on the subtitle "Dream Story", I wonder if they want to use the story theme again. It seem like not a great ideas.
Characters:
I actually hope that they can introduce some new characters from Starlight School or Four Star Academy. If Raki still the only characters of the new season,seem like it would be little bit boring..

Ever since Aikatsu on Parade premiered in October 2019, I've decided to make reaction videos as each episode aired! 😁 I've been meaning to start after the very first episode came out with english subtitles, but never got around to doing it because of how hectic my work schedule's been. I'd try recording after getting home at night, but it never worked out because of how late it would be. I get off from work at 11:00PM most nights. I'd still try, but would be too tired and feel like doing nothing, except lay in bed. Even on my days off.
