Four Stars Shining (キラめく四つ星) is the sixth episode of the Aikatsu on Parade! anime series. It aired on November 9th, 2019.
Summary[]
Beyond the door that Raki openedーsomehow, she landed right in the middle of the stage of the 25th generation of S4! The surprised Raki received a strict scolding from Tsubasa Kisaragi, reminding her about the seriousness of the situation. After reflecting upon her actions, the Raki who apologizes and made the promise to do anything will...?
Plot[]
Through the mysterious corridor Raki floats and wonders where she is going. She runs through the large door and to her confusion, she sees she is now standing on a stage, where four idols were preparing to finish their concert with a final song. As Aine and Mio arrive through a door taking them backstage, they find Raki and prepare to join her until realizing she's standing on an idols stage. The four can only stare at her with confusion as the dazed Raki notices their sparkling radiance and wonders who they are.
From the audience, Yume and Koharu are surprised to see Raki again. Meanwhile, Hime takes the initiative and speaks to Raki, who introduces herself and asks who they are. Hime introduces herself, Tsubasa, Yuzu, and Yozora. Yozora remarks on how cute she is and asks if she is an idol also and Raki confesses that she is a new idol who has just started out. These words begin to cause the audience discomfort as thy can't understand why a new idol would be on the same stage as S4, more or less, they find it weird she doesn't even know who S4 is. As this is going on Aine and Mio start worrying, but Yuzu and Tsubasa suddenly come up with a plan as security arrives to escort Raki away.
Yuzu suddenly announces that this is only a prank she pulled on them and Tsubasa backs her up expressing exasperation and apologizing to Raki for having to play along. She then suggests Raki stay backstage to watch them perform and she heads back as the performance resumes, with S4 performing Episode Solo.
Raki applauds for them and she is relieved to see Aine and Mio, who have met Yume and Koharu. Seeing as they owe S4 an apology, they head back where they are unwinding and Yume explains everything that happened since they first met them some days back. While Yuzu thinks it sounds interesting the others seem concerned when Aine points out that Yume said she was an S4 member before, but they also introduced themselves as S4. Yume takes this time to explain how they were the 25th generation of S4, while she's part of the current, 27th generation. They also explain that the S4 are considered the top students of the Academy, something Aine and Mio can relate to their own Diamond Friends status from their school.
Raki is very happy she got to see them perform and considers it a lucky event- but Tsubasa sternly explains that even if she didn't mean to disrupt, her unplanned appearance nearly caused their performance to be ruined. For each fan, it was a once-in-a-lifetime show, and while they managed to barely pull it together they nearly lost the hype put for the performance built. Raki apologizes, but Tsubasa tells her it can't be fixed that easily -although the other three try to calm her down- causing Raki to apologize again and offer to do anything in order to fix it. Seeing her dedication to making things right, the four agree by serving her "punishment", in which she will be their personal assistant for an entire day.
Back at Four Star Academy, Raki is given her first task of carrying their four, moderately heavy bags around. Aine and Mio offer to help Raki as the mess wasn't her fault, but she tells them she must do it on her own for the sake of their fans, whose feelings she didn't consider. Even if she can't take back what happened she wants to do everything in her power to make it up to everyone. With that, she slowly trudges behind them, with Yume offering to keep an eye on them as she's had personal experience as Hime's assistant in the past.
Raki begins her day by serving the girls tea during a talk show appearance, followed by bringing them umbrella as they relax after a photo-shoot and another program. As this is going on Raki brings up how busy they are to Yume, who mentions that they aren't the only ones there working hard- they also have the staff and crew who help to support the girls and make sure things run smoothly. Raki realizes that besides them and their fans, she also nearly ruined the efforts of the staff who worked hard to put the concert together. She feels even worse when Yume adds that they have been preparing for this concert for months; but despite this, their smiles have never once faded, and she suggests they focus on doing that too.
Meanwhile, Aine, Mio, and Koharu are worriedly becoming more aware of the uproar of rumors regarding Raki's sudden appearance; and it's mostly a lot of hostility and flaming from the fans. Aine feels very bad for Raki and wishes she could say it wasn't her fault, but they can't just tell everyone what happened because then it would just worsen things for all of the idols involved.
Raki is given a small break as the six arrive at their next destination, the S4: It's Our Job To Shine building. Yume asked S4 to be her guests and they have agreed, so she leaves to begin when someone knocks on the door to bring in the girls their dresses, which were designed to be matching. But as the woman is taking them from the rack to hand them over, one dress snags another one and tears a large rip through its fabric.
Yume begins the program as Aine and Mio watch from backstage, and the five panic as the woman repeatedly apologizes for what she did. Just then Raki gets an idea on how to fix it, and she suggests taking one of the decorations and placing it over the torn area, Yozora agrees and asks her to handle it as Yuzu attempts to get Yume's attention by Aine and Mio. Yume initially can't understand, but soon catching on she is quick to admit she is a bit nervous for her special guests and asks the audience if she could sing for them first. They agree, so she chooses a coord and performs MUSIC of DREAM!!!.
The girls give Yume the okay and with that, she announces her guests. With their modified gowns the four appear on stage, with the woman thanking Raki for her help. Raki expresses her gratitude for being able to help, and as this is going on Yume compliments the beautiful dresses Yozora designed. She thanks her but informs everyone that while she did handle the initial design, she didn't finalize it, that was Raki's job. She calls for Raki, who hesitates after what happened, only to be pushed on by Aine and Mio. She tries not to take any credit but the four compliment her, and soon the audience warms up to her as they suggest she put on a performance. Raki remains hesitant until they explain that her skill not only saved them in a tight spot, but she worked very hard and everyone can see how serious she is about Aikatsu; as such, she has been given "reward time". Raki changes into her coord and appears on stage to perform Your Entrance.
Raki's performance wins over the crowd, but she remains focused on what she did. She apologizes to the audience -much to everyone's initial confusion- and explains how her sudden mistake nearly ruined the S4's hard work for the event they were holding. But despite this, they taught her many things and were kind to her. She's taken lessons from this and now she has become a big fan of theirs. Everyone feels a lot better, with S4 remarking on how she has the natural idol aura.
As this is going on, Koharu gladly sees that all of the hate messages are now turning to those of love from Raki's new fans. Yume goes on to ask her how she felt doing this so last second, and she confesses that normally she is always running around from one thing to the next, and she's probably caused a lot of trouble for others than she ever realized before. But because of this she's also got to make many new friends and met so many new idols- which earns a remark from Tsubasa, who says if anything she does have guts. Yume ends the program by asking everyone to give Raki some final applause.
Later, Aine and Mio rejoin Raki and they compliment how well things did. Just then her ID begins glowing again and another door opens, leading them to a brand new location as Raki wonders who she will meet next.
