The Fitting Room (フィッティングルーム) is a device seen in the anime of the whole Aikatsu! franchise. It is used to put the idol into her desired coord set and take her to the stage.
Description and Usage[]
Aikatsu! Fitting Room[]
The Fitting Room is a tall pink booth covered with a golden framing. The booth itself is a doorway to the stage, part of the Aikatsu System. To activate the doorway, at least two or three cards must be placed on the golden crest located on the center of the booth. The cards should consist a top, a bottom, and shoes (paired in one). A dress can also be placed instead of a top and bottom. There are also two optional cards that can be placed if the person chooses to. The optional cards are the student card and the accessories card. Once the required cards are placed, the door opens and the person may proceed to the next stage.
Once passed through, the person will find themselves in a "runway" with the placed cards ahead of them. By going through these cards, it dresses up the person from the contents contained in the cards. The person will be dressed up with a top, a bottom, and a pair of shoes, which are the cards placed on the booth. Once fully dressed up, the person will have a 360 degrees view of their outfit, then can proceed directly to the stage.
The background off the "runway" is determined by the type of song is going to be performed. Pink for Cute, Blue for Cool, Purple for Sexy and Yellow for Pop.
Aikatsu Stars! Fitting Room[]
The Fitting Room is a silver raised platform. The top of the stand is a place for idols to insert the cards, that made up of five symbols: a star, a heart, a diamond, a club, and a spade. The student ID is inserted into the star; The Top is inserted into the heart; Bottom into the spade; Shoes into the diamond, and Accessory into the clubs.
Aikatsu Friends! Fitting Room[]
The Fitting Room is a golden pedestal with ornamental diamond-shaped platform at the top to place the cards, along with a large golden ring placed behind the diamond. The user grabs ahold of her Aikatsu! Pass and places it onto the diamond, activating a snowflake crystal pattern, each of its left, right, bottom, and top shards to place the Top, Bottom, Shoe, Accessory card respectively.
Aikatsu Planet! Fitting Room[]
The Fitting Room is a curtain-like doorway to the stage. Before proceeding to the stage, Idols must summon their chosen Dressia via Swings and materialize it into a dress for them to wear.
Trivia[]
- The process of idols going through the Fitting Room is not seen throughout Season 1 of the Aikatsu on Parade! series.
- However, the entrance to the difference Fitting Room of each series can be briefly shown.
- Both idols from the original Aikatsu! and Aikatsu Stars! insert their ID into the place with the star symbol.
