Beat has sharp lime green eyes with long lashes. Her long hair is at hip-length with slight curls at the end, with her bangs cut very short to the left. Her right half is dyed black, while her left half is dyed electric pink shaded with dark turquoise.
Her first time in Aikatsu Planet, her hair was entirely black.

Beat (ビート) is the basic unit of time in music. This is a reference to the first character in Kyōko's given name, "響", meaning resonance.

- She is Aikatsu Planet's designated idol with a catchphrase ending in "janai" (じゃない), following Aoi Kiriya from the original Aikatsu! series, Rola Sakuraba from Aikatsu Stars! and Maika Chōno from Aikatsu Friends!
