Seira Otoshiro (音城セイラ) is a character in the Aikatsu on Parade! series and was one of the main characters in the second season of the Aikatsu! series. She is a student at Dream Academy. Seira is a cool-type idol whose preferred brand is Swing Rock.
Bio[]
Appearance[]
Seira has pink hair tied up into a ponytail with a purple ribbon, in which her hair reaches down her waist. Her eyes are orange and she sports a purple ribbon on her ponytail. Before her debut, she wore her hair down until Ki tied it up.
Personality[]
Seira has a leader-type personality, her courage and outgoing traits influenced by rock. She comes off as confident and bold, but she's actually pretty shy and very humble.
Background[]
In the past, Seira played classical instruments but moved on to rock when she first played the guitar. She was part of a rock band before becoming an idol. Her sister, Noeru, was watching a Soleil show when Seira returned home, and was inspired by how idols were able to create smiles among the crowd and decided to try to enter Starlight School; however she was rejected as the judges thought she fitted more as a rock singer than an idol.
After the disappointing result, she came across the Dream Academy news on a magazine and demanded an entrance opportunity at their gates. Tiara Yumesaki saw Seira's passion for music and her idol activities began as a student at the newly opened academy.
Relationships[]
- Kī is Seira's best friend and producer. When the two first met, they quickly bonded and became fast friends. They both support each other and Seira encouraged Kī to take part in an advertisement audition after hearing how much the Kī loved the brand.
- Seira and Ichigo were partners for the Partners Cup. Despite being opposites, the two became great friends and rivals, bonded together and formed the unit 2wingS, in which they won in the Twinkle Star Cup.
- Tiara appreciates Seira's love for music, saw the great potential within her to become an idol and chose her to be part of her academy.
- Seira's younger sister.
Etymology[]
Otoshiro (音城) Oto (音) means Sound and Shiro (城) means Castle. This could be a reference to her love of music and having perfect pitch.
Seira (セイラ) means Holy or Good.

- Seira is the second character to debut in a Premium Rare coord in her first performance.
- She shares her singing voice with Aoi Kiriya.
- This makes her the first character to share a singing voice with another main character.
- She later also shares her singing voice with Mikuru Natsuki.
- She is the only first-generation Dream Academy idol to have two Premium Rare dresses.
- Despite debuting after them, Seira has more Premium Rares than Kaede Ichinose and Sakura Kitaōji.
