The Aikatsu Academy! Streaming Club (アイカツアカデミー︕配信部, Aikatsu Academy! Streaming Club) is club at Aikatsu Academy. Their goals are established as "making everyone's daily lives shine through streaming", "becoming the most accessible top idols", and "reaching 1 million channel subscribers".

History

2024

Mieru Himeno, Meh Mamimu and Parin Wao enrolled in Aikatsu Academy in the spring semester. However, finding themselves unable to pass auditions, they decide to create a Streaming Club with the intention of connecting with more people and creating their own opportunities.

Their debut stream and first performance took place on July 27.

Their first digital single, Aikatsu Academy! First Tracks, was released on September 1, shortly following their participation in the Fresh Idol Festival on August 31.

Their first official collaboration was with vα-liv from PROJECT iM@S. The Streaming Club made an appearance in vα-liv's stream on October 17, with vα-liv in turn making an appearance in Demykatsu News #14 on October 19. The girls then split up into pairs for a singing stream relay on October 30, beginning with Mieru and Manaka Tomori, followed by Meh and Cosmo Kamizuru and finally Parin and Letora Utagawa.

Taimu Rindou joined the club on November 23. Her debut stream took place the following week on November 30. The club's first digital single as four members, HAPPY REFLECTION, was released the following day on December 1.

On December 27, the club made a guest appearance on the 3D debut stream of Maria Marionette, a VTuber affiliated with the VTuber agency NIJISANJI. With Maria, they performed a cover of Diamond Happy, marking the club’s first performance on an external channel and first collaborative peformance with another artist.

2025

On January 10, the club made a guest appearance at New Year's MEWLIVE 2025, an event hosted by VTuber production company MEWLIVE. This marked their first performance with a live audience, as well as their first live performance as four members.

On January 30, the club made a guest appearance at the birthday concert of Polka Omaru, a VTuber affiliated with the VTuber agency hololive. With Polka, they performed short covers of Start Line!, fashion check! and Tutu・Ballerina, as well as a full performance of HAPPY REFLECTION. This marked the club's first performance of an original song with a collaborative artist.

On March 9, the club made an appearance at ULTRA ANIME FES, marking Mieru, Meh and Parin's first solo performances with a live audience.

From March 14 to 16, the club made an appearance at Life Like a Live! 9. On Episode II, Mieru and Meh performed a cover of KIRA☆Power with Rin Toma and Subaru Suzuna of VTuber unit MaRiNaSu, while Parin and Taimu performed a cover of 1, 2, Sing for You! with VTuber duo LiLYPSE.

On March 29, the club held its first large-scale concert, in which the four members officially debuted as the unit hélianthe. The concert featured Ichigo Hoshimiya, Akari Ōzora, Hana and Polka Omaru as guests.

From April 20 to 21, the club held its first online meet & greet, with Mieru and Meh on the first day and Parin and Taimu on the second.

Channel

The club streams as a group every Saturday at 20:00, a series which they dub "Demykatsu News" (デミカツ通信, Demikatsu Tsūshin). These streams typically last an hour, and if applicable, are immediately followed by new song releases.

Beginning May 2025, the channel underwent a renewal in which Demykatsu News will now be streamed every other week, alongside two new programs - "Aikatsu! Interview" (アイカツ！インタビュー, "Aikatsu! Interview") on Mondays and "Aikatsu! Challenge" (アイカツ！チャレンジ, "Aikatsu! Challenge") on Thursdays.
